Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the two modes? add
"Extract pages" pulls out the pages you specify (e.g. 1-3,5) into a single new PDF. "Split into individual pages" turns every page of the PDF into its own separate PDF file, delivered as a ZIP.
How do I write a page range? add
Use commas for individual pages and hyphens for ranges, e.g. 1-3,5,8-10. Spaces are ignored.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server? add
No, everything happens locally in your browser — your file never leaves your device.
What if my PDF is password protected? add
Password-protected files can't be read directly. Please remove the password first with the Unlock PDF tool, then split the file.
